I worked for Victoria Secret in the early 2000's. I remember that bombshell perfume and their Amber whatever (The remane their body mista every five years) were so popular amongst Louisiana men who loved fishing. It was so cute to have a grandpa come in ask for the, "Amber Romance to keep those mosquitoes away". Sometimes they would bring their wives too and it was the most wholesome experience. 🥰

I’m a mosquito magnet. And get a major allergic reaction to them. But I’ve been using tiger balm the second I get bit and it prevents them from blistering ! Life saver

As a vector-borne epidemiologist (I talk about mosquito borne illness and prevention measures daily) this is great! But repellent that contains DEET and physical barriers like long sleeves and pants is still the most effective method to prevent mosquito bites

When I worked at vs all the guys (and I mean literal men) sore by amber romance. For when they were going hunting/ camping. The wives loved coming with their hubbys and being like” go ahead ask her, if you want it you have to ask her” and they would shyly ask for the amber romance
