@theafricanvo: Passport Experience At Seme Border. On the journey out of Lagos to Benin Republic, We stamped out of Nigeria for ₦2,000 and stamped into Benin Republic for ₦3,000. According to the officials, the ₦3,000 entry fee was because my passport was a virgin passport, meaning I hadn’t stamped into Benin Republic before. I also had to pay ₦3,000 to update my yellow fever card because I had only two vaccine entries. Apparently, they require three entries, and the one I was missing was the polio/meningitis vaccination. I honestly didn’t expect the yellow fever card issue at all. If you’ve crossed this border before, please let me know in the comments: Is this something you’ve experienced too, or do we just chalk this up to officials stylishly finding their way?
