As someone who has sat at a lot of these tables: your answer genuinely don’t matter, just whether or not you deliver it confidently or not. “Ha. I’m not much of a wine drinker, genuinely couldn’t tell a Bordeaux from a grape juice” is a better answer than any level of wine snobbery where you act like you care about impressing them

Anyways, if you don’t know anything about wine this is a great opportunity to let the investor shine and let him explain it to you. You’ll score a lot more points at being a good listener than pretend to be educated when you’ve only watched a 2 minute video.
