@summermaeoutdoors: Food is getting scarce and the feed is on sale so I figured I’d do some experimenting so I’ll have some better insights for next deer season. In this test I did side by side testing of crushed persimmons vs acorn rage. I used a game camera to get deer counts but the physical evidence was obvious. 20 deer hit the acorn rage and 7 hit the persimmon (some could’ve been the same deer) but only 2 hit the persimmon before the acorn rage was gone. Also, I think it’s important to note that both persimmons and acorns are naturally found here but acorns are way more prevalent and more recently available based on the time of year and the fact the acorns last much longer before becoming rotten so this could have played a role in their preference. So next year I’ll definitely try acorn rage to help get the deer in close enough for a bow shot ❤️ I hope these experiments will help some of y’all as well. Let me know if you want to see a different side by side experiment. #fyp #outdoorlife #hunting #explorepage #deer
