i think its hard for people who grew up religious to view other religions without comparing them/viewing them with their religion. If your only concept of god is this entity that will punish you if you dont follow xyz how can someone else’s god be different

As a latina who grew up w Catholicism in our culture but i dont believe in god, i see a lot of latinos say this too. I wear rosarys and know some church songs and like religion bc of the cultural connections, but i dont believe.
