Both my parents died without changing. 🤷🏽♀️My advice is not expect it and focus on your own healing. And go no/low contact if that would be helpful.

Therapist here. You would know if they were going to change because they would be actively owning their mistakes and correcting them moving forward. If they aren't doing that, you are correct, they will not change. Protect your peace. ✌
