I had a hair appt this week and I told my girl that I’d started your program. She said all of the sulfates and silicones are bad for my hair and my hair will eventually get dry and damaged and won’t absorb moisture. I love the method. I think my hair is healthy etc.

Hi, I am intrigued but confused by your account. I've searched for hours and have not been able to find what your hair looks like unstyled. I cannot wrap my head around the natural look of your hair. I want to try your thingy because I see other people trying and their hair looks healthier but as an autistic girlie I do not style my hair besides letting it air dry and then either leaving it down, putting half up, or all up depending on how it looks. I started to try adding leavein conditioner, which is a bit of a sensory nightmare, but it does look so much better when I use it. The problem is my hair is so frizzy yet also flat and straight when I just brush it until it's dry, and so nicely soft and wavy when i don't touch it for the first hour after washing. not touching something is close to impossible for me so this only happens a few days a year. So for all those reasons, I cannot stand the feel and look and texture of my hair and end up wearing it in a bun most days. I totally understand if you're not willing to show what your hair looks like naturally air dryed and without products. But you keep coming up on my fyp and i'm tempted, but I'm not going to commit to something that isn't going to make my getting ready process easier. Anywayyyys if there's any way you could point me towards a video of you having done this already or maybe keep in mind that it would be something I (and I'm sure many others) would love to see!

I see TONS of people who ask so many questions and specifics based on the Abby Yung method and which products are best for their specific hair issues. If you guys use ChatGPT you can type: Create a routine based on social media Abby Yung method for “whatever your specific hair issues are. Ex: I have dry, thin, and damaged hair. And give me the names of specific products Abby Yung has approved and list options from affordable to luxury in those categories. Then create a weekly routine using all of these products based on Abby stings recommendations. I got so much information, bought all the products and weote down the weekly routine to follow. Saved time and it helps

I have religiously used sulfate free because it was supposed to be good for your hair and my hair was always a frizzy dry feeling mess. Started using the L’Oréal hylaronic acid set (purple) and my low porosity medium to fine hair is THRIVING. Now if only I could find a curl routine to get my curls under control I would be in heaven!

I did my second wash with the Abbey Yung hair method today and it's SO incredibly soft. I have been bleaching my hair for years so there is a lot of damage but it almost feels like it's all gone. In Abbey we trust 💗
