Part 7 is where I stopped treating the model like a prediction engine and started testing it like an actual trading system. I took the model’s high-confidence signals and simulated what would happen if I actually traded them, which is where I ran into a much bigger problem: being right about direction does not automatically mean the trade makes money. Once options pricing, volatility, commissions, and time decay enter the picture, the system becomes a lot more complicated. This is the point where the model starts getting stress-tested against real trade mechanics instead of just statistical performance.
