I told the relief teams I couldn’t make my payments due to life and job circumstances and got multiple offers. Some closed accounts, others lowered my interest for a few months, one even gave me 0% for 12 months.

I am about to do this too! I have learned in the past that the chat gets me nowhere - it’s usually automated and if I do talk to a real person, it isn’t easy to explain situations / give that emotional value over a text box. My plan is to call my cc company, offer to make a larger payment and ask one of two things: can you offer me a (hopefully decent amount) lower interest rate for the next 12 months or is there a pay off balance I could pay right now to get this paid off? If they tell me my pay off is what my actual balance is - I plan to ask ok well what if I can give you (hypothetical purposes) 75% of that right now, would you clear it? Do I plan for this to work? No. Do I plan to try? Yes lol
