My grandmother accidentally kept taking estrogen because of an oversight. She lived to 101.

I wish I would’ve started sooner. I started last year at 60 with Estradiol gel & progesterone caps. I haven’t felt this good in 2 decades.

I am a Lab Technologist and never believed them. Did my own research. Stayed on birth control until 55 and then switched to HRTs.

Blood clots from estrogen mean I have to white knuckle my way through menopause.

As a 49 year-old woman who is menopausal, I have done my research and research and research and at some point you have to become an advocate for yourself. Yes doctors have a degree but a lot of times they don’t pay attention to what the actual truth is so you have to make a choice for yourself and decide what is best for you

I’ve been on it since 38 after my hysterectomy, I’m 57 and still on it. My doctor said it would be a benefit. I’m glad I listened.

Im deep in perimenopause and have seen two providers, tried 4 different types of birth control without success. They’re causing more problems rather than fixing them. I continue to be denied HRT because “it’s only for menopause”. I’m exhausted.

I’m now 70. I started perimenopause at 42. My female doctor at the time put me on oestrogen and progesterone. My GP kept it going. I stayed on it till my late 50s. I was a smoker too. Then in my 60s, I didn’t take it. I’ve asked my doctor if I could go back on it again because I’m tired of being crabby, and he said yes 100% and I feel so much better.

My poor mother (76) was denied HRT and now she has dementia. I can't help but think how things could have been different for her if she was given the opportunity to take HRT. Im 52 and have been on HRT for almost 3 years, my quality of life is so much better on it than not.
