Hear me out- it feels lazy and exploitative for a house like Dior to put a classic lit book name on a tee or bag and sell it for a lot of money and call it fashion. That’s not design nor fashion. It’s just tacky.

i love JW Anderson but his work at Dior hasn't hit for me. I was an English major and didn't like the book stuff either! Maybe studying literature helps you realise that classic books are just books, lol

It feels like Dior doesn’t want anyone wearing DIOR except for the extremely rich. The rtw just feels and photographs like Zara clothes. It is a step up from the dumpster fire it was in the last handful of years but still not loving it by any means.
