Hey guys just to kind of clarify, the first portion is the sign language from the movie specifically for the na’vi, but the second portion of the video switches to asl in pse (meaning asl signs in english order). Maybe i missed it in the movie and they used those signs, but without clarification, deaf viewers may think you’re attempting asl and just be confused by how wrong the sign is. The sign for “never” isn’t correct, it’s almost supposed to outline the shape of a question mark, and “see” is supposed to be motioned from the eye outward, not like in the middle of your face. It’s nice when people learn sign at all, but so much misinformation gets spread around on this app and people tend to just copy the movements they see rather than look into properly translating, almost like a big game of telephone :,)
