this is incorrect at KFC they dip it in water then into the flour mix 7 folds 10 presses then 7 more folds then back into the water and repeate they also use powder milk in the flour

i’ve worked at kfc we put the chicken into a water tub before coating with the flower that contained milk powder and the “11 secret herbs and spices mix” which contained a lot of pepper in it (would always make you sneeze)

The actual KFC uses milk and egg powder and salt mixed into the flour with the herbs and spices. No MSG and the only wet ingredient was water to dip the chicken in before coating.
