A New Generation Rising for Freedom, Justice, and Democratic Change We, the young generation of Eritrea, united from Western countries and communities across the world, stand together with a common vision: to bring an end to dictatorship and to build a future founded on freedom, justice, dignity, peace, and democratic governance for the Eritrean people. Today, young Eritreans from different backgrounds and countries are gathering in Ethiopia, our neighbouring country, to strengthen their unity, exchange ideas, document the realities facing our people, and develop a clear political vision for Eritrea’s future. Their efforts reflect the determination of a generation that refuses to accept endless repression, the denial of fundamental rights, and the continued suffering of the Eritrean people. Through dialogue, documentation, strategic thinking, and political engagement, these young Eritreans are working to strengthen their collective voice and advance their shared aspirations. In cooperation and dialogue with the Eritrean Blue Revolution Front (EBRF), and through constructive engagement with the Ethiopian government, they seek to promote a principled and coordinated path towards democratic transformation in Eritrea. We recognize Ethiopia as our neighbouring country, and we believe that constructive relations between Eritreans and Ethiopians can contribute to regional stability, mutual respect, and a peaceful future for the Horn of Africa. We therefore call for meaningful dialogue, responsible cooperation, and respect for the sovereignty and dignity of both nations. Our mission is clear: to end dictatorship in Eritrea through a united, determined, and peaceful struggle for democratic change. We believe that Eritrea belongs to its people—not to one individual, one ruling party, or one generation of political leaders. The future of our nation must be determined by its citizens, who deserve accountable leadership, the rule of law, independent institutions, freedom of expression, and the right to choose their government through a genuine democratic process. The young generation of Eritrea carries a historic responsibility. We must document our nation’s struggles, preserve the truth, raise international awareness, strengthen political unity, and present a credible vision for a democratic Eritrea. Our strength lies in our unity, our principles, our courage, and our commitment to the rights and dignity of every Eritrean. We call upon Eritreans at home and throughout the diaspora to put aside unnecessary divisions and work together for a common national purpose. We also encourage international partners and neighbouring governments to support the Eritrean people’s legitimate aspirations for freedom, justice, human rights, and accountable government.
