Absolutely the metric system for most things. I honestly believe a hybrid system would be perfect. Like temperature for weather F, measuring people’s hight should honestly have a foot variation in the metric system. And so on.

I've actually heard of some Japanese companies having mandatory workouts more or less like stretching and minor calisthenics before shift whether you're on the day shift or the night shift and some of those companies like Toyota when they came to America they still practiced some of those policies because it's a Japanese company the Japanese owners do it in Japan they make it mandatory to do it here in America and possibly other countries wherever they put their companies

I love the idea of the metric system for commerce. But how would that work with things like football that deals with yards? Or construction that's ingrained with feet and inches? Conversion is harder than it sounds, but 100% agree we should do it for commerce.

So for the SOP even if you have them they don’t guarantee people can do the process outlined in the document. We have multiple to outline different things in my department, I have even made a few, and there is still at least one person that messed things up because they don’t fully read it or don’t seem to understand common terminology that they should be familiar with and using regularly.
