okay I love how the design for the Carpathia looks professional. like she looks like she's on duty at work and has her braids tight for the job she's ment for while the Titanic has loose beautiful hair, decorated in a fashionable way not a military way, like they Look like the professions you'd assume each ship would have

This is a comment from another post. @stazi_die: My Dad was a boiler tender in Vietnam. One day we were talking about the Carpathia and he got real quiet and then goes 'You know boilers scream when they're running too high, it's a hellish sound and terrifying. If your boilers are screaming it's the sound of death coming soon. So those tenders were listening to the screams of death as they charged to save the dying."

No bc I see it as her looking around frantically for her sister, having already reached the spot she was supposed to be in. But a little part of her knows that she's already gone...

Titanic should have been a very young "sister", it was her first travel, imagine Carpathia hearing the cries of the youngest sister, in the cold ocean, sinking, using even the fireworks to desperately have the attention of anyone

As the captain said, "The Ocean won't hurt a ship trying to aid another" and he was right. she melted three of her boilers, making hell fear her and her crew, going 17-18knts to reach her sister(That's I all I know from Carpathia trying to reach the Titanic)

She tried to save her sister's passengers, but the guilt is heavy and visible no matter how hard it hurts or fades away.

for some reason I can imagine the Titanic's human version holding her humans up to try and save them from the deadly icy waters

This is lovely. A tale of two rivals from different companies who often pushed each other to be the best. And when one suddenly falls, her rival rushes to her aid without question, injuring herself beyond her limits for the chance at saving her & her passengers. Because she & her crew owed them that much as her rival.

The way you drew the absolute fear and panic mixed with that sheer determination in Carpathia’s eyes HAUNTS me 😭

the carpathia cut through the ocean like it was nothing pushing all its engines way past what they were ment to go all to try and save as many people as it could even though it was a rival company. that's what humanity is all about

Her older sister Olympic also received Titanic's SOS call but unfortunately she's too far from her sibling's sinking location. When Olympic arrived it was too late.

This story always brings me to tears. Rivals went out the window. Titanic needed help, Carpathia was there ❤

So the Titanic's wounds would be more like she was gutted as the iceberg scrapped along her side, less a single puncture and more a long, massive gouge, likely down across her ribcage to the bone(painful but survivable) and then maybe a puncture or much deeper wound directly underneath. Or maybe up into her armpit (as there is a major artery there, and the speed of the sinking could be considered akin to someone bleeding out) or a gash on her neck trailing down to her ribs

Magnificent, you should do one of Carpathia picking up the lifeboats as Titanic sinks beneath the water just as happened in reality.

So if I’m correct, the picture is carpathia looking for titanic but titanic was already at the bottom of the ocean…

I was waiting for someone to do this! I can imagine her running on the water trying to get to titanic while Titanic is slowly sinking into the water barely floating by the time she arrives
