I couldn’t agree more. I did not like the main character either. I think it’s very unrealistic too that all the characters would be so forgivable.

I started this RIGHT AFTER The Correspondent which was a bad choice possibly since that book was beyond 5 star for me so I decided to DNF this one after a few chapters.. It felt very immature to me

I definitely liked this more than you, but don’t understand all the hype. This was still better than the other overrated books like the Names & Atmosphere. One things all these overhyped books have in common is that they are very readable.
