Hey I sent the story! So I wasn’t the only person this happened to! I’ve had family members as well as a few friends say that the Jefferson theater always felt off or dark. I haven’t been back inside of it since but it still creeps me out when I drive past it.

Kind of point-adjacent, but a grown man hesitant to escort a young adult (male or female) to a bathroom in a remote part of the building is not weird at all— it’s smart. One of my male colleagues drove a student home to an unstable situation we were monitoring, and every one of us (female teachers) berated him afterwards.
