Langdon & Louie’s conversation was such an important “addict relating to an addict” moment. Louie’s a severe alcoholic, he’s no doubt done bad and/or regrettable things while wasted. They understand each other on a level that others can’t. Such clever character writing.

So… as a night shift nurse of 27 years, that’s his emotional support iced latte. You get 2 on your way to work, drink one immediately (bolus dose) & then slowly maintain a steady caffeine level the rest of the night with the other. It’s science & math & stuff…. ✨
