Ai ascultat ceva mai răvășitor decât Lacrimosa? A circulat o legendă potrivit căreia însuși Satana i-a comandat lui Amadeus Mozart să compună Requiem -ul din care face parte și Lacrimosa. Piesa l-a epuizat complet pe genialul Mozart, l-a secătui de toată energia sa și în final l-a ucis înainte de finalizarea piesei. Requiem-ul a fost isprăvit de către câțiva elevi al maestrului Mozart, la cererea soției acestuia care dorea să obțină banii promiși.
