My ex and I split up just a little over two years ago. We graduated HS together. Was one of my best friends in school. Reconnected after school and dated. We’re 35 now. The lessons I learned in that relationship have defined me into who I am today. We spoke once since the breakup and haven’t seen her since. If only I could tell her thank you, and wish her well. I could have let it take me over but I ended up progressing in life and it’s one of the hardest yet most valuable lessons/times I have ever endured.
