Growing up I knew I always wanted to be a mom - as an adult i refuse to be a mom without finding a perfect dad - i think a baby deserves both parents to be loving and kind and this is def the only thing stopping me / i get this post 100%

So my sister is one of those women who has ALWAYS wanted children. She has 3, and she’s a great mom. Her advice to anyone who isn’t sure if they want children is “If you aren’t sure, don’t have them.” She says it is way too hard and too much work even when you *know* you want them and if you’re not sure that means it’s just not for you.

Turning 35 tomorrow and I’ve come to this conclusion as well. Even if I met my DREAM MAN tomorrow and he wanted to be a dad, I have zero desire to raise a family in this insane time (especially in America). I will worry way too much.

I’m 19 and absolutely so set on never wanting kids, I say that as a nanny and an educator and babysitter - I LOVE my job and I love those kids but I just do not want kids, no part of parenting seems like something I would want to be a part of, even the good parts
