I transitioned my ShihPom off apoquel & to the Hills Diet Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon kibble. he loves it, and his skin is healthy with no meds! it took a few months to get him back to normal after stopping apoquel, though. lots of milky baths and anti-itch sprays. but after he detoxed he was fine!

my moms dog had similar skin problems as Julia. He turned out to he allergic to absolutely everything so they switched him to a really plain food that was vet approved.
