As a muslim i am definitely 100% against the islamic regime especially for what they did to Iraq, however many need to understand that these governments don’t represent islam and many of the actions they do towards there people are against islam but i hope Allah protects the protesters fighting for there rights

Just to clarify, there’s more important context such as the Shah having his own sets of issues and the US/western countries having heavily influenced Iran’s leadership. i encourage you to research more on the topic since there is so much history.

The movie Persepolis gave me a peak into the history of Iran when I was in high-school. Me and my sister rented it on a whim and had no idea what we were in for. My heart goes out to everyone experiencing such disarray and heartbreak in the current conditions.
