@amandalynndaly: Mama and dada shouldn’t be the main focus when we’re teaching first words! Try functional words like “up, more, no” when you’re modeling language for your little one!

My daughter learned help me first. She uses it when she wants her binky. When she needs her hands wiped. Oh and also screams it when she doesn’t want to get into her car seat 😂

Technically my sons first word was more and all done in sign language then his first verbal word was dada and now he’s 14 months and saying 10 words and sometimes can say more mama/ music dada etc and I feel like it’s because we SING 24/7 and then we pause and wait for him to respond/repeat
