@cottageandblossom: I grew this perennial from seed about 3 years ago and have never shared it ~ Gaillardia (blanket flower) I started it indoors from seed 6-8 weeks before the last frost. It gave me a few blooms the first year but has been absolutely abundant for the past two years! It simply won’t stop blooming and just keeps going! The colour combination is absolutely stunning. I saved a coneflower from Lowes death ($2 clearance) last season that i think looks just like this. I really hope it comes back this year. It had 4 small flowers when i planted it before cold hit. The worker said do u really want to buy that. So i hope to prove them wrong
