how are we getting the setting to start with in the beginning? I have such a deep desire to make jewelry to gift to each of my family members out of a TON of gemstones & diamonds I have aquired for this. (pendants & earrings mostly. rings are a whole other ballgame.), and I am so torn on whether i should go the silver clay route, or try to get them made wholesale? (I probably have about 80 pieces worth of diamonds & stones 🫣 but I’m not sure if that’s enough for wholesale to be worth it.) if you do not suggest silver clay for a beginner with no tools (& who already owns a torch) what supplies or methods would you point me to? I trust you to tell me the truth & not just frown upon beginners because your love of the art shines. “people follow passion” is what i tell my artist bf all the time. I’m really glad you I found your page. 🫡
