Id recommend this filter because of the features and the fact that you can use whatever media you'd like to. You aren't forced to use those awful disposable cartridges which feature a little bit of filter floss for mechanical filtration and a tiny bit of carbon for chemical filtration whilst having absolutely no surface area for the propagation of the beneficial bacteria needed to maintain high water quality which is the most important thing to be concerned with if you want crystal clear water. I also have good experience with this brand as well, I've purchased a few of their products from Amazon and am quite satisfied. Both with the quality and the price which is quite competitive.

I have 2 filters from hygger there hang off the back canister filter for 21 bucks is WAY more better
