I totally agree she probably didn’t want him to see her as a victim. What I would’ve loved is to see more scenes post-birthday with young Anna and seeing the changes and the breakdown of those friendships. I think the show had a tight 6 episodes and didn’t have enough time to flesh out the trauma.
