Si is a negative. So sikwagala is the negative form of Nkwagala, so it becomes sikwagala. Similar thing to si’nze(not me but nze means me)

there's "I don't need you" which means "sikwetaaga". I don't want you means "sikwagala". I don't love you means "sikwagala". I want you and I love you have a way they relate in luganda and there opposite sounds the same.
