I’m an immigrant woman, don’t tell me we marry American men so it’s easier to isolate us or take us away from our families because we “don’t know the country.” That narrative is false and insulting. The truth is, we leave our countries for a better life. And statistically, the majority of immigrant women divorce American men about 2 years after getting their papers.
