If they can’t locate the watch, do they have to reimburse him the value of that watch?

So, a man who wasn’t on trial but testified could be thrown in jail for yrs b/c the court believed he wasn’t truthful; yet lying lawyers walk. Where is the justice there? 🤷🏽♀️

beachsandblues :
If a Defendant fails to provide truthful testimony (aka Lying Under Oath) the Courts automatically presume it was intentional, and consider it perjury, however when the Police and the ADA fail to provide truthful testimony to the court, the Courts don’t presume the Prosecution is Lying Under Oath, because the Courts have automatic presumption that they are in the right, that they are always truthful, and would never knowingly provide false testimony under oath. Even when the Police are caught lying, even multiple times, the DA’s office goes out on a limb to claim the errors were made in innocence in order to protect their cases. The Judges see it all the time and rarely do they take steps to punish them in meaningful ways. Its shameful!

How do they keep lying to the courts and continue to get away with this?! If that was anyone else they would be held accountable

What is your thoughts (or insights) into why they kept dragging their feet - even after Judge Whittaker ordered it to be given back ? What would the transcript give them that the order hadn’t already ordered them to do? (Out of curiosity what their angle was if you had a perspective 👀🙈😁)
