@thehtbrothers: From Forest to Villa to Leeds to Man United. I’ve lived the highs and the heartbreak of football from a young age. I started at Nottingham Forest at 8 and was released at 14 for being “too small.” That was the first taste of rejection, but not the last. Villa from 14-16, no scholarship. Leeds for two years, played every youth cup game, no pro contract. Then 18 months at Man United training and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the game; Ibrahimović, Rooney, Pogba, De Gea. A dream and a lesson at the same time. At 20 I left United and had to start from the bottom, do it the hard way to prove people wrong. I started in non-league with Cleethorpes Town, where I had to have the belief in myself to climb the ladder again. From there to Kings Lynn in the National League during Covid, then to Buxton where I had two of the best years of my career where we had back-to-back FA Cup 2nd rounds and the platform where HT was born. After a golden glove award and a title, I moved to AFC Fylde in the National League and spent 18 months before heading out on loan to Hereford, then made it permanent. Racking up over 300 senior games now and many more to come. I’ve faced rejection at every level, too small, no game time but I never stopped. HT was built from that mentality, pure belief that we could create gloves that looked good and felt good as well as performing. #goalkeeper #goalkeeping #goalkeepersaves
