@charliesacres: We chose Clarence to be with this group of hens because the hens were rescued from someone that debeaked them. So if they were to have a rooster companion then that rooster would need to be patient and understanding with them. Clarence was that rooster.

Unicordeer :

Why do people debeak chickens what even is the reason

Hania❤️ :

I thought she was just born like that and laughed but then I saw the rest of them.. poor babies 💔💔

Coal T :

My girl penguin is missing some of her beak too

gooloogooloo :

If you look at the profile of this account, it says that they rescued these severely debeaked hens. So, they did not debeak them.

DMB77 :

debeaking is usually just the tip not the whole top of the beak 😳

Ash :

We have a de beaked baby she's super sweet I like to feed her by hand cus she has a hard time competing with the other girls

✧Agnes♥ :

someone really said "ngiken" and I'm over here snorting while laughing 😭

Ann :

They are preening him. Very respectful to him.

🐻‍❄️ :

poor girls ☹️

P..GL :

Debeaking is unacceptable. The chickens would rather set their natural pecking order than remove their top jaw.

Sami🍉🇵🇸🇱🇧🌀🌱 :

It’s so sad seeing them debeaked. Basically like removing your lips 💔

Savana Dowey :

Oh Clarence 😭 if every man was as good as you the world would be a better place

ScreaminMimi1 :

WHYYYYYY did someone feel it necessary to do this to these girls?! What could the benefit possibly be??!
