I live in Georgia Central Georgia. I’ve already had two kids. I’m on my third as far as I know both mother and baby should stay in the hospital for a minimum of three days before either is discharge. Why are y’all talking about 24 hours going home I have never and my 30 odd yearsseen anyone go home before three days?

The baby usually can leave with the mother, unless the hospital obtains legal authority to hold the infant for safety reasons. Hospitals CANNOT override parental rights without Due Process.
