I hope everyone in this comment section knows that we (Americans) learn virtually nothing in middleschool. Never took any world history (including both world wars), and everything we take regarding our own history is HEAVILY censored or irrelevant.

The system has failed American, but it was on purpose. The less educated a society is, the more gullible, malleable and impressionable they are because they know no better. Society is navigating a situation that has already happened in history because they weren’t taught it happened in the first place.
