@irongirlnadia: I ran my first marathon at age 14 with my dad. He was 40 and is now 68. We have now shared 28 years of running and races together. I was asked: why should I go on the World Tour? The first thing I could think of was: to bring my father to see the world. Sharing races together truly has connected us with so many runners and seeing others joy makes us happy that—we’re not alone in the running journey. He has endured a hard life and he is still struggling. However, he puts a smile on every time he laces up for a race with me. He turns into to a kid when he races. If I ever get the opportunity to run all the world majors, my dad will see them too. Because he is my running buddy for life.
