That's a complete misunderstanding. If the father was in the store, he could've paid for the product that the daughter had in her hand by just picking up another one and letting him know that his daughter had 1 and that she's autistic and ran out upset. the person that the register could have just kept the one he paid for they should have just used the code on the back judt to scan it for purchase.
