I still wouldn't break my kids stuff. thst just teaches them that its okay to break others people's stuff is okay I understand the part about sticking to your word. but your words should be "im going to throw an adult tantrum and break something because you tested me" thats not teaching respect. its teaching destruction. I am a mother of 5. I am a part time therapist that works with 1000s of kids per year. and a neurologist that also majored in developmental psychology. this is not how to raise an emotionally stable kid
