I did one tomato plant last year laid down sideways and that plant turned out way better than the other others so I’ll be doing this method every fucking year

Is a great tip, if you have the space. I plant mine in 5 gallon pails, so I plant 75% of the tomato deep inside the pot so they’re very strong roots!

I used to work in the fields. They did not lay the tomato plants or seedlings sideways. I worked in a lot of fields. I still drive by a lot of fields and see the plants are vertical.
