I mean I’m in CA and a lot of people felt like that in 2017 when he free soloed el cap - this seems a bit safer as you could have hospitals and doctors close by instead of being in the wilderness

He climbs with ropes first to make sure of how he will do it. This guy is so good that when he climbed El Cap he was climbing well within his ability. Still must have massive cahones though.

White man’s burden: There are robots to build solar panels, why would he be building them? ‘Bob the Builder’. He could however get a job installing these solar panels. No. No more need for men to do these jobs anymore. There’s plenty of sunlight in Africa, you don’t need panels. IQ? Sunlight is the source of all things. Why’s he climbing a building? What about his family? No worries about his family, he’ll do it. He’ll be back for breakfast. Bush life is safer.

I’ve watched him climb before, and he’s extremely talented, so I definitely want to watch. However, this feels like a big departure from his usual climbing.

He is my climbing hero. He is the most meticulous planner before climbing so if anyone can do it it’s definitely him. Obviously mistakes happen to the best so I don’t think I could watch it either

It seems strange. Now I don’t know how much of the wife interaction was true from the movie Everest obviously we had one wife that was not happy what her husband was doing, but we had one wife who was pregnant and was fully behind her husband doing what he did. But then it’s a disaster when said husband or wife dies doing this. I don’t know, but I guess if you marry into this and go in knowing exactly what to expect then one of the expectations is that your partner is gonna fall. I think it’s more unfair to the kids because they don’t have a choice whether they accept it or not.I don’t know hopefully they’ve got a big life insurance policy.
