I lived in Vancouver for 4.5 years and now I live in Toronto for the 6th year now) people in Toronto and Vancouver romanticize living in Vancouver too much lol. Toronto is more unhinged and communal. Vancouver is more fragmented, people live in their small circles. I like travelling their like a mini nature gateway, works for me. Pros and cons 🤷♀️Toronto food is better. PERIODDDDDD

Yeah the only way you start making friends with Vancouverites is by breaking in to one of their existing friends circles and going from there. A lot of them have had the same friends for years

Being born and raised in Vancouver I think it all depends on where in the city you are. I try to be friendly when I’m out and about. But there are definitely areas of the city where being friendly and outgoing is substantially easier. 🙂

I'm sure you did your due diligence recording data, but are you taking inflation into account? The numbers being the same but a difference of two years, that would suggest that Vancouver is still cheaper than Toronto.
