@gwen_peck: Let’s make non toxic 4 ingredient dish pods that actually work. What you’ll need for this recipe -Lemon juice 3/4cup -Washing soda 1 cup -Baking soda 1 cup -Epsom salt 1 cup (change if you have a stainless steel dishwasher) Silicone mold when putting the powder into the mold, you wanna make sure you’re pressing it down and compressing it so that you get a solid pod let’s sit overnight and it should harden! This is the only recipe I found that actually gets my dishes clean. I just use one pod and I use straight vinegar as a rinsing agent and my dishes get so shiny. I highly recommend this. It is so easy to make it took me less than 10 minutes and it’s highly affordable and not to mention. It is way better for you. If you would like to see more nontoxic household swaps let me know! #lowtoxlifestyle #homemadecleaningproducts #lowtox #fyp #restocking
I made this and my dishes come out with a cloudy appearance any clue what is wrong?

How long are you supposed to leave the molds once you put the dishwashing ingredients in it? Do you have to wait for a day or so to let it dry out and then take them out of the mold? Or just put the ingredients in the mold and then pop them out?

I just bought blueland tabs and it leaves a residue behind. Online it's says to add vinegar- tried that and all of my dishes smell like vinegar - any way to avoid this? Excited to try making these!

Do you know if these are safe for a septic system? We have a septic tank, and I saw on a similar recipe video that some people had concerns for their septic tanks.
