HW4 is worth the investment. Already confirmed that it's capable of unsupervised driving when it releases. If you're on the edge, HW4 is essential.

I have the 2026 Tesla Model y premium all wheel drive with FSD for life and it's on hardware 4 actually it's the updated hardware 4 (HW4.5). there's a lot of a difference as compared to my 2023 Tesla Model Y which actually had hardware 3. of course for Senior People if I'm not being inappropriate, HW3 will be as good as HW4 because it will do most of the things for them which they need.
