is it not common knowledge that if someone is in the room with the light on dont turn it off? only turn it off if nobody is in there because if they weren't using it it wouldn't be on in the first place..i don't know what this has to do with being deaf

I love the vibe of yellow lights and dim settings but my eyes hate them. I wish I could see in rooms with yellow lighting but I get a headache if I try to do anything but relax in there.

I might have a solution if u want it, u could get dimmable lights so it can be on between. your husbands eyes dont hurt and you can acctualy see goes perfect for both sides this way u dont have to have arguments about this all the time

I totally get it. My husband is blind and love all the lights off and I can see and I need more lights than anything so we do bump heads on that a lot too.

My husband and I it is volume.. I have very sensitive ears and he has a habit of chewing bottle caps, very loudly… It is very over stimulating like the lights hah.

I’m blue eyed my fiancé is brown eyed. This is a constant debate in our house because blue eyed people actually have no melanin in their eyes so it’s more difficult for us to see in bright light areas. Where are brown eyes essentially have built in sunglasses with high melanin in their eyes. Making bright areas easy but dark areas really difficult

My husband is blind, so the smallest sounds can wake him up. He has the loudest fan for night time. Took me forever to get used to when we got married. 😅

I keep cabinets and drawers open - just slightly! I’m sensitive to sounds, so this has just being second nature. Hubby goes behind me and closes them 🤣

We have this exact same argument 😂 we now have one kitchen light that is white and one that is yellow and we can turn them on and off separately. It’s perfect 👌🏽
