Industry VFX artist here. Major pipeline issues prevent this from being usable in production. 1. Loss of Plate Integrity. It performs destructive Img2Img generation which hallucinates new textures and geometry instead of mathematically relighting the original pixels. This breaks continuity and match moving. 2. Broken Linear Workflow. No 32bit OpenEXR support means we lose all dynamic range and cannot integrate 8bit compressed footage into an ACEScg pipeline. 3. Compression and Clamping. It crushes the bit depth so you cannot grade or key footage that has compression artifacts and clamped highlights. 4. No AOVs or Light Groups. We need separated diffuse, specular, and transmission passes for Nuke compositing because a baked Beauty pass gives us zero control to tweak the lighting integration later.
