I understand what your going through been dealing with them since 2006 after getting back to the world. And I just got meds that I don’t even take since 2010 . And my appointment Friday I walk in and ask what I am there for .

Brother I totally get it…..VA tried same thing with me…. I walked out of office….straight to scheduling people….and said….appointment with someone else…. I am a veteran not a test subject! Gave me a new Dr that same day! Always know…. I appreciate what you do….just stand up for yourself!!! They work for US!!!

I was ehat of the hardest times I had when my wife was goin thru her surgeries when she got out of the core. instead of fixing the problem they would just give her tons of pain meds and do nothing else. then come back years later saying she taken way to much pain meds. its horrible what yall go thru

I went in to the VA because of my back. Had x-rays indicating herniated and collapsed disks and I was told to leave, I'm too young for back problems and I must have faked the x-rays.

Ask for community care on that. My hospital is small town Iowa and they’re awesome. Sometimes the big offices think throwing pills at you is the best way to deal with everything. Xanax and prazosin is all I deal with anymore, it used to be a whole counter full of bottles that led to heart palpitations and all kinds of weirdness.

If they are prescribing meds, they aren’t ‘ the counselor’. They are purely prescribing meds. I am a Veteran and Nurse Practitioner that worked at the VA and the things I have seen would blow your mind.

That’s not a psychologist that’s the psychiatrist you need a nurse or doctor who actually knows what they’re scheduling for and inform you. Change doctors

I just got regular insurance and I had a doctor that was the same way well what do you want to do? what do you want to do? not with that guy? no more got me a new one. it's a female and she's way better than that guy. the other guy was an Indian guy. couldn't even understand him
