I just wish we could discard hysterectomy or anything that equates hysteria to female anatomy. Misogyny is just built in. I had my uterus and uterine tubes removed because they tried to off me with tumors.

This isn't even new. I'm 44 and when we did anatomy in prep school, my teacher was a nun and even she referred to them as oviducts.

Do they think that learning just stops at 5th grade? Like sure, I knew what “algebra” was, but I didn’t know what exponents, or variables, or coefficients were. It’s, almost like learning is a building process

I love it when people say "come on we learned this X years ago" yeah I also learned that Columbus discovered America and that he thought it was India, and that he was the only one who didnt think the world was flat. some of the most inaccurate information was taught to me in school... also where the fk did yall go to school where 5th graders learn anatomy and physiology? Arizona isn't a great example, but I didnt learn anything about that in highschool, closest I got was Biology (which I actually did in Tennessee) and I dont recall going over the systems of the body at all. it was more microbiology than Anatomy and Physiology.
