I think it's possible to champion Leigh Janiak and her achievements as a director as well as a big part of Stranger Things' production success for Seasons 1-4. but to sort of lump the entirety of why Season 5 on one creative not being there feels a little off? I understand and respect your opinion, I just don't believe that Leigh being a part of Season 5 would've miraculously saved the ending that we had.

honestly it's the only thing that makes sense at this point for me. like I understand shows are hard to wrap especially when they keep going longer than intended but this season didn't even feel like stranger things and we know why now.

It’s also interesting cuz an interview they gave during season 4 it sounded like cuz of covid lock down they had mapped out all of 5 too and were solidly locked in. I think they threw out there outline after the divorce….hence why they were so behind.
