redraw the map, excise the rural from population centers and the more populated regions. Can make new states the size of Connecticut for say Chicago or Midwest cities but Georgia sized for the larger cities in Texas or Florida.

If we're going to do this, maybe Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota can join Canada, the West Coast and Northeast Coast can become their own countries and the rest can just be left on their own.

How come it’s about equity and people paying their fair share and tax the rich, there should not be billionaires when it comes to people but then it’s all about the rich states should keep their money rich states should not have to pay for poor states maybe the poor states should not get handouts.

Pre civil war, states were added in pairs to balance power between states that allowed slavery and states that did not. I believe in that same manner California and Texas should bow out at the same time
